There oughtta be an adage

Why am I suddenly so into my blog? For the same reason that my friend and I decorated a long hallway in our first apartment with National Geographic clippings during finals week ... I don't know what the reason is, but it has to do with terrifying impending deadlines that make you want to devote time to everything and anything else. So much so that, so far today, I've cleaned my office, blogged three times, sent a joke voicemail and spent about 20 minutes searching Wikipedia for the name of my condition. Parkinson's law seems to come the closest, but it's not quite right. I love that there's a "coefficient of inefficiency," though.
